Counting Ducks, not Crows

This family of very young mallard went for a paddle on May 22, 2020. (Sadly, I have not seen any of them since. That is not to imply anything bad has happened to them, just that mom has taken them to some other part of the lake to grow up.) 

Keeping track of this playful bunch must be a challenge - notice that two of them are much smaller than the other nine - one or more of them is always ducking (pun intended!) under the surface.
