Loons are rare visitors to Norwood pond, usually stopping long enough to rest a while on their way to somewhere else. A group of 14 loons did just that on May 15 2020. The dark colored birds in the background is a group of White-Winged Scoters (I think) also taking a break while traveling. Unlike the loons, the scoters were still on the pond the next morning.
