Ducks, Ducks, Geese

Several species of duck spend some time each year in Norwood. There are always a few families of Mallard raising their young. Visitors include bufflehead, ring-necked duck, and new for me this year (2020) a group of white-winged scoter.

Canada geese are regular summer residents; each year several young families of Canada geese grow up here.
